RDW represents our clients and brings home three 2023 Bell Ringer awards during 55th annual event.
One of our favorite things about the clients we work with each day is they believe in the same mantra as us: driving positive change. And it is through our work together that we can really see some of that impact take shape.
Sometimes we hear it in an anecdotal story: a pregnant mom living with substance use disorder calls our client to get help with supports and services for her and her baby.
Other times we see it for ourselves in direct audience feedback: a city resident realizes with wide eyes what happens (and how much it costs) when an entire truckload of recycling is contaminated with trash and non-recyclable items, and they vow to change their habits.
Much of the time we can see it in the numbers: a content brand which is well beloved but maybe hasn’t been top of mind for a while steps back into the limelight with increased viewership and record-setting membership.
In the best of scenarios, we are able to measure the success of our work both quantitatively and qualitatively. And we are recognized with a prestigious annual Bell Ringer award. Now in its 55th year, the PR Club Bell Ringer Awards celebrate outstanding PR, communications, and marketing work conducted by industry professionals, agencies, and in-house teams throughout the New England region.
On Thursday June 8, RDW Group was honored to attend the 2023 Bell Ringers Awards ceremony at the Royal Sonesta Boston. Alongside our industry peers, RDW and our clients were presented with three Bell Ringer recognitions:
- Silver Bell – Healthcare Campaign, “Substance Exposed Newborns Awareness and Provider Outreach” with the Rhode Island Department of Health
- Silver Bell – Integrated Marketing Communications Campaign, “It Happens Right Here” with Rhode Island PBS
- Merit award – Integrated Marketing Communications Campaign, “Recycle PVD” with Rhode Island Resource Recovery Corporation
While we have been attending the Bell Ringers for several years (no humble brag intended, but you can read more about previous award years here; this stuff never gets old!), every year there is renewed excitement in celebrating this work, and, importantly, the positive change it helps to make.
RDW’s Managing Partner, Phil Loscoe, Jr. sums our feelings up best: “RDW is once again proud to represent each of our clients in the 55th annual Bell Ringers Awards. It is their drive and dedication to make our world a better place – through healthcare, education and culture, and environmental stewardship – which brings these campaigns to life and ultimately drives positive change. Congratulations to our client teams and RDW internal teams on their continued work and success. Very well deserved.”
