Help us give a warm welcome to our newest media planner, Erin Mullaney! With a love of learning and an enthusiasm for positive change, we’re confident she has what it takes to help your media strategy make an impact. Take a minute to learn a little more about her and why we’re so excited to have her on the team.
Do you have any nicknames we should know about?
No, but I wish! Erin is a hard name to find a nickname for. If anyone has any ideas, I’m all ears.
What is your favorite food?
My favorite food will forever be Mac and Cheese. I like all kinds, from gourmet to homemade to straight out of the box. It’s the ultimate comfort food when you’re looking to treat yourself. Like a warm hug in a bowl 😊.
What is your favorite part about working in Media Planning and Buying?
Definitely the strategy that goes into it. There are so many forms of advertising to consider, so coming up with an integrated plan to reach the right audience in the right way is such a worthwhile process. The paid media landscape is forever evolving with new opportunities, technologies, and challenges, so you must stay current. The learning doesn’t stop and that’s something I really like about this role.
Why did you choose RDW?
RDW is an impressive agency that works to bring positive change to their clients and customers. The agency is dependable, efficient, and creative thanks to the smart and caring people that work here. I’m very excited to now be part of the team!
What’s your favorite place you’ve visited?
That is tough but probably Australia. I’ve been a few times now between work and leisure and fell more in love with it with each trip. It’s well worth the long plane rides to get there!
Most rewarding project or past achievement you’ve been a part of?
I worked on a partnership with a former Australia-based client, the Northern Territory tourism board, and popular TV show, The Bachelor, to highlight the destination in the most recent season finale. It’s always rewarding to see the final product of something you worked hard on, but it was even cooler that my friends, family, and another 8 million people were able to enjoy it too – drama & all!
What’s your background (educational)?
I graduated from University of New Hampshire with a BS in Business Administration – Marketing and a minor in Hospitality.
What else should we know about you?
I just moved back to New England after living in Los Angeles for the past four years. I’m looking forward to all the seasonal activities (as of now!) and to be closer to all my family and friends that live here.
Welcome, Erin! Looking forward to evolving our strategies with you.
