Help us give a warm welcome to Lauren Bucci, RDW’s newest Media Planner and Buyer. With her love of collaborative teamwork and helping clients reach their goals, we’re confident she’ll bring your media plan together in a strategic and meaningful way. We sat down to ask her some hard-hitting (sort of) questions to help you get to know her a little better and here’s what she had to say.

1. What are your favorite and least favorite foods?

I have a ton of restrictions when it comes to eating but my favorite foods are seasoned, roasted vegetables which I have with every meal. On the flip side, I cannot stomach mushrooms and bananas (I think it’s a texture thing)

2. What is your favorite part about working in media?

I really enjoy thinking about a client’s business in a strategic and meaningful way, planning tactics that make sense, and watching it all come together.

3. Why did you choose RDW?

RDW encompasses everything that I enjoy about traditional and digital media and the agency world. There is a work/life balance, opportunities for continued education, collaborative teamwork, and an array of clients with different business goals.

4. What’s your favorite place you’ve visited?

Bonnaroo, a music and arts festival in Manchester, Tennessee. The farm is hot, dry, and dirty, but I’ve been four times and it’s still my favorite place on earth

5. Cat person or dog person? Why?

Growing up, my family only had cats and lizards – so I’m definitely a cat person

6. Favorite karaoke song?

“Just a Friend” Biz Markie

7. Most rewarding project or past achievement you’ve been a part of?

One of my favorite and most valued projects was adding dynamic creative to a client’s B2B e-commerce strategy. This was a new concept at the time, and it was a learning experience from onboarding to launch. There were plenty of bumps in the road, but it was ultimately a successful tactic for their business

8. What’s your background (educational)?

I have a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from URI’s School of Business.

Welcome, Lauren! We’re looking forward to creating collaborative strategies with you.
