Say hello to our new Director of Business Development, Rob Meyer. Rob comes to us with more than ten years of agency experience and an enthusiasm for engaging with clients and helping them drive results. Take a minute to learn a little more about him and why we’re so excited to have him on the team.

1. Do you have any nicknames we should know about?

My only nickname is RobbDeep, coined by a co-worker at an independent record store I worked at while earning my Master’s degree. It became my DJ moniker too, so I’ve stuck with it!

2. What are your favorite and least favorite foods? Please elaborate

I live in New England, so seafood is my favorite—lobster, oysters, mussels, clams, you name it. Outside of seafood, I’ll never turn down Mexican food.

3. Why did you choose RDW?

What attracted me most to RDW Group is its proven track record of driving results. Many agencies make claims, but RDW’s nearly 40 years in business and 92% client retention rate demonstrate the agency’s ability to consistently meet objectives.

4. Who’s your idol? Why?

David Bowie. His creativity, constant reinvention, and fearless boundary-pushing have always inspired me. He never stuck to the norm, which made a lasting impact not only on music but on culture as a whole.

5. What’s your favorite place you’ve visited?

Greece. I studied Ancient Greece in college and always dreamed of going. When I finally visited, it was the first time I traveled somewhere and didn’t miss home—I even questioned whether I should stay.

6. Cat person or dog person? Why?

While I have nothing against dogs, I’m a cat person. Cats have been a key part of human history—living in palaces and apartments, worshiped as deities, and guarding cargo across oceans. Despite their close ties to us, they remain fiercely independent and wonderfully enigmatic. Truly remarkable creatures, especially my Bombay cat buddy, Miles.

7. Favorite karaoke song?

Without a doubt, Warren Zevon’s “Werewolves of London.” It’s fun and catchy, and the crowd always joins in for the howls in the chorus—it’s a crowd-pleaser.

8. If you could have a superpower, what would it be?

Time travel. To visit some of the greatest moments in history would be a tremendous gift.

9. Most rewarding project/past achievement you’ve been a part of?

In my career, I’ve pitched and won some great business. But winning the business is only half the story. The real satisfaction comes from seeing the team engage with a new client and help them achieve success with results that were once just hypotheticals.

10. What’s your background (educational)?

I earned my Master’s degree in Ancient History with a focus on Rome, Greece, and the Indian subcontinent. But what I’m most proud of is translating Cicero. He’s one of the greatest Latin writers, but definitely a tough one to tackle.

Welcome to the team, Rob! We’re excited to drive results with you.
