The Rundown on Robert- iFactory Junior Developer

The Rundown on Robert- iFactory Junior Developer

Help us give a warm welcome (back) to the newest member of our iFactory team, Robert Bernier! Robert worked on our web team as a college junior and we’re excited to have him back on board. Take a minute to learn a little more abut our new Junior Developer, his experience building web applications and what he had to say about iFactory.

  1. Why did you choose iFactory?

I have always enjoyed being creative and building things. In my junior year of college I worked as part of their web team during the redesign that iFactory was conducting. I knew that I wanted to be part of the team when I saw how original and modernized their work was.

  1. Cat person or dog person? Why?

I like both! Cats and dogs have always been a huge part of my life. I really like bull terriers so I am hoping to get one in the near future!

  1. If you could have a super power, what would it be?

Teleportation. Say goodbye to long commutes!

  1. Most rewarding project/past achievement you’ve been a part of?

Prior to iFactory, I was a contractor for the United States Research Institute of Environmental Medicine (USARIEM), where I built a web application for several of their thermoregulatory models. Basically a system for soldiers to chart the course of their mission and see if it is safe to conduct it based on physical and environmental factors. Pretty fun stuff!

  1. What’s your background?

I went to college at Framingham State University for most of my education, but I did study at Westfield State University for my first freshman semester.

Innovators, strategists, web designers, interactive solutions-makers, game changers, people people.
