How do you reenergize community support?
Special Olympics RI (SORI) is one of the most well-known charities in Rhode Island. But it suffers from the outdated perception that its popular annual Summer Games represents the totality of its offering. SORI actually operates hundreds of programs, including workplace development and nutrition, in addition to the well-known athletics offerings.
Leveraging the organization’s fiftieth anniversary, we created a campaign that featured SORI athletes involved in the full dimension of SORI programming — athletics, nutrition, and workplace development. It helped re-shape the community perception of what SORI offers.
The campaign helped generate nearly double the previous year’s charitable contributions. We’re proud and humbled to have played a role in such a great community response. Special thanks to Kevin Moore at Accomplice and to Joel Benjamin Photography for their contributions to this work.
Online ads celebrated SORI’s good works and featured the incredible people who benefit from the community’s generous support.
