Hello Hayley, RDW Public Relations Account Executive
Say hello to the newest member of our public relations team, Hayley Bick. Hayley comes to us with a love of relationship building and more than eight years of agency experience across a wide range of industries. Take a minute to learn a little more about her, and you’ll see why we’re so excited to welcome her to the team.
1. What are your favorite and least favorite foods?
If I had to choose one food, I’d probably say burritos. Moving back to the east coast from San Diego, CA, I often get asked what I miss most about Southern California, and without skipping a beat, my answer is always the burritos. They’re quick, filling, delicious and cheap! It’s also what I meal prep for lunch on days I’m in the office.
2. What is your favorite part about working in public relations?
I love the relational aspect of it. Building relationships with reporters, clients, community partners and of course coworkers.
3. Why did you choose RDW?
The people and also the client work! Everyone I met and spoke to during the interview process was so kind. That, plus the fact that the tenure at the company is widespread, told me that RDW Group is a place people enjoy working and that I would enjoy too. Additionally, I was drawn to the agency’s client list. When looking for a job, I was searching for one in the nonprofit and higher education space which are two of the largest industries RDW works with. It felt like a perfect fit!
4. What’s your favorite place you’ve visited?
My husband and I recently went on a six week trip and traveled to Vietnam, Thailand, Japan and New Zealand. While they are all beautiful and wonderful places in their own rights, I have to say my favorite place we visited was New Zealand. We rented a minivan-campervan and explored the south island for about 12 days, hiking and camping along the way. Close seconds would be Bali (where we went for our honeymoon) and the US Virgin Islands (where we got married).
5. What’s your educational background?
I received my Bachelor’s degree in communications with a minor in consumer behavior from the University of Southern California. Fight On!
Welcome Hayley! We’re looking forward to building relationships with you.
